TAMBUN CAVE

Tambun Cave is located in the limestone hills of Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Ruff cave paintings, there are ancient 3000 year old Neolithic such as pictures of animals using a spear hunting activities. These motifs include the ancient Aborigines, deer, rock badgers, turtles and dugongs. The motive is believed to dugongs or forest insects many people suspicious. The cave is near the camp Syed Putra, Ruff, Ipoh. The cave was originally not care and surveillance of the archaeological. It was said in 1959, Lieutenant R. L. Rawlings in the patrol at the time the emergency was discovered ancient drawings of this invaluable. Some stones hanging sharp (stalactites) had a fall and collapse and damaging part of this ancient material. Thus the appearance of the cave was no longer there.
