TAMBUN POMELO FRUIT

There are many shops that sell pomelo from Tambun along Jalan Gopeng, near Sam Poh Tong temple if you were around Ipoh, Batu Gajah or a nice place to visit in Gopeng. It is quite similar to grapes because it comes from the same citrus family. The difference is that the fruit has a pulp larger more watery and not bitter like grapefruit. There are basically two flavors to choose from, taste sweet or sour.

This fruit is the fruit of the most popular in Perak. It is planted in the Tambun Valley, about 10 minutes from the east Ipoh is surrounded by limestone hills that are rich in minerals such as calcium. Known as one of the best in the world, this fruit is rich in minerals, stone, such as potassium and folic acid. It has a source of vitamin C and other minerals such as phosphorus, calcium and sodium.
